LeRoy graduated with a violin major from college. He then Studied stringed instrument repairing from Hans Weisshaar In Los Angeles, and Hamma in Germany. He had his own violin shop in Seattle, Wa. for about 10 years. When Isaac Stern saw this case in New York he called LeRoy. A few months latter they met at his shop and discussed cases. He loved the “suspension” idea. He thought that was “the greatest thing since Pizza!” With his encouragement we started to focus in on Violin cases.
The rest is now history.
